Ingredients:
- Wheat Flour : 1 cup
- Sugar : 1 3/4 cup
- Ghee : 6 tbsp (depends)
- Elachi
- Kesari Powder
- Badam
- Cashewnuts
- Fry the wheat flour in a pan with 2 spoons of ghee till you get a good smell in a low flame.
- Add, Kesari powder, Elachi, water and mix the wheat flour with out any lumps (have to use your hands) to get a batter.
- Keep it aside.
- Fry the cashews, keep it aside.
- In a seperate pan, add water with sugar, wait till it dissolves and start boiling with bubbles.
- At that time add the flour mix and mix well till you get the halwa consistency. Add ghee whenever necessary. Add the fried cashews.
- Decorate with Badam slices.

ReplyDeleteI tried out this recipe when my sister came to my home and it came out really good.. She too enjoyed it... very simple to make with what you have in home all the time..
ReplyDeleteI mixed wheat in water thoroughly.. still while pouring it in boiling sugar, lumps formed here and there.. but the lumps tasted good.. :-)..
