Day 12 Recipe - Instant Puliyodharai

Ingredients: for 2 people


Rice : 1 cup

To Grind:
  1. Puli : small lemon size
  2. Dhania : 2 tsp
  3. Red Chilli : 6
  4. Fenugreek (Vendhayam) : 3/4 tsp
  5. Aesofotida, Salt

Seasoning:

Gingelly oil, Mustard seeds, Urad dhall, Gram dhall, Red chillies, Curry leaves, Aesofotida, Turmeric Powder

Method:

  • Fry all the above items in little oil till you get a good flavour. Grind it into powder.
  • Cook rice with 1: 2 1/2 water in the pressure cooker, keep it aside. Let it cool for sometime
  • Add 1/2 tsp of turmeric powder in the cooked rice with some gingelly oil. Mix well
  • Add salt and the powder to it , mix it well.
  • In a pan, add gingelly oil, fry, mustard seeds, urad dhall, gram dhall, red chilli, curry leaves, aesofotida, add to the rice.
