Rava (Sooji) : 1 cup
Sugar : 1 1/2 cup
Water : 1 1/4 cup
Water : 1 1/4 cup
Ghee : 1/2 cup
Elachi
Cashew nuts
Kesari Powder
Edible Camphor
Method:
- In a pan roast the Sooji in ghee in a medium flame till you get a nice light brown colour.
- Boil the water in a seperate pan
- After it comes to boil, add the water into the roasted rava, mix well without any lumps till it is cooked.
- Add sugar, kesari powder, edible camphor into that now and mix well till the rava comes out of the pan. Add ghee when necessary.
- Add the roasted cashews.
- TIP : HAVE TO ROAST THE RAVA WELL TO GET A GOOD KESARI
