Day 19 Recipe - Cashew Cocoa Cake

Ingredients:

Milk Powder : 1 cup
Maida flour : 1/2 cup
Cashew Powder : 1/2 cup
Cocoa Powder : 4 spoons (for color and flavor)
Sugar : 2 cups
Butter : 50 gms

Method:

  • Roast the Maida flour in ghee for 2 mts in a low flame. Let it cool.
  • Mix Cocoa powder, Cashew powder, Milk Powder and Maida well. Keep aside.
  • In a pan, add some water to sugar and start preparing the syrup in a medium flame.
  • When it starts boiling add the butter and allow it to boil for 5 more minutes.
  • Then add the rest of the ingredients to the sugar syrup and stir till you get a cake consistency (approximately 10 minutes)
Note: Do not add the cocoa powder to maida when it is hot. Allow it to cool before adding cocoa powder.
