Day 16 Recipe - Jaggery laddu

Ingredients:

Gram Flour(kadalai maavu, besan) : 1 cup
Jaggery : 3/4 cup
Cashewnuts
Dry Ginger ( Sukku) (powdered) : 1/2 tsp
Ghee : 1 tsp

Method:

Make a dough with the Gram Flour and water (Bhajji dough consistency)
In a bhoondi spatula, prepare the bhoondi, keep it aside.
Fry  cashews in ghee, keep it aside.
Add some water to the jaggery and filter it.
In a pan, prepare a thick syrup (PAagu) of jaggery. (If you drop of the syrup in a cup of water, it should come as a round ball)
Switch off the stove, add the bhoondhi to the syrup, mix well with fried cashew nuts and Dry Ginger powder.
Make laddu before it cools down. It should be hot to make good balls. Add ghee on your palm to make balls.
