Mango Pachchadi:

Mango : 1 medium size
Jaggery : 1 1/4 cup
Green Chilli : 1
Mustard : 1/2 tsp
Red Chilli : 2 to 3
Turmeric Powder
Curry Leaves
Asafoetida
Salt

To Grind:

Red Chilli : 3
Fenugreek : 1/2 spoon

Fry it and powder it. Keep aside.

Method:

Slice the mango in to pieces. Add Green Chiili. Cook that in the stove top with little water (1/2 cup) . When it is half done, add pinch of salt, curry leaves, Jaggery (Soak the jaggery in water and filter it), Aesofotida. Let that boil for sometime. Say 5 mts. Add the powder (Red chilli, fenugreek) to it and allow it to boil till it thickens.

Seasoning:

In a kadai, add some oil, splutter mustard, curry leaves and add to the Mango Pachadi.

This pachadi will have all the tastes (Sweet, Spice, Salt, Sour etc - If you get Neem flower you can fry that in the ghee a little bit and add to the pachadi, this will give the bitter taste too. Normally we add the neem flower during the tamil new year's day) Please try this, I am sure you will definitely like it!
